About our company

I started Nihon Ya from the desire to have Japan's ancient traditional culture known to a larger percentage of the world, to have people hold it in their hands. I strongly hope to convey the traditional beauty woven by the subtlety of the Japanese people. A great deal of awe-inspiring creations exist in Japan that could not be made by machine. If only a little, I hope to be able to introduce and offer this knowledge to a wider audience. I would like to be able to develop the kind of products that will appeal to the inner-child and curiosity of adults.

Eventually, we hope to pass along the traditional and modern culture of all of Japan throughout the world, to provide products that incorporate both the old and the new, and to become the bridge that connects Japan to the rest of the world. We kindly ask for your support in this endeavor.
